Position Summary :
The Provider Enrollment Specialist at Madera Community Hospital (MCH) is responsible for managing the enrollment and credentialing processes for healthcare providers with insurance companies, government payers, and other entities. This role ensures all provider information is accurately submitted, maintained, and compliant with applicable regulations to facilitate timely reimbursement and uninterrupted care delivery. Will complete and submit provider applications for enrollment with insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or healthcare administration.
Prefer familiarity with hospital operations, payer requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., Medicare, Medi-CAL, managed care payers, etc.).
Requires excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing software. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
