The Role Purpose:
Madewell is searching for a Merchandising Operations Merchant - Partnerships, Collaborations & Go To Market (GTM) Operations. This candidate will support the branded strategy via collaborations, owned 3rd party inventory and assortments from 3rd party brands via marketplace. They intuitively react to market trends and develop action plans that drive category specific growth and increased profitability. Additionally, this person will integrate into the entire Merchandising GTM process and support end to end cross-functional touchpoints across 3rd party & the Madewell owned product to deliver a complete customer experience to the market.

Job Description
- Support Design and Merchandising to manage and bring to market exciting collaborations and 3rd party assortments
- Manage 3rd party line within Madewell and all Collaborations
- Develop a compelling assortment, based on brand strategies and creative direction to elevate the overall brand
- Support logistics and operations on new design collaborations with brand creative and design
- Communicate changes, maintain timeline, and see through GTM process on all collaborations with all cross-functional partners - planning, production, design and wholesale
- Maintain & own responsibility for 3rd party and collaborations merchandising calendar
- Analyze 3rd party and collaboration reports and respond to current trends as appropriate
- Partner with Merchandising Planning on 3rd party inventory management
- Have a pulse on the market and ensure key fashion trends are well represented in the assortment. Communicate trends to merchandising and design for consideration
- Support Merchandising team on GTM briefing process; work with vertical merchants to communicate big ideas to creative and marketing
- Manage samples for 3rd party and collaborations and collection of product information for style-outs, meetings, and photo shootsOversee Product Information prior to turnover and develop compelling story lines to increase productivity for all channels
