Overview : Manage seasonal product design execution to achieve overall creative and business objectives.
The Role Purpose :
Coordinate and unify creative execution of product.Manage creative and technical development of product within merchandise assortment strategy.Research seasonal trends, themes, color, raw materials, and styling.Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to achieve product execution and maintain design integrity.Conduct footwear fittings.Create design cards for first protos, including measurements and construction details.Approval of lab dips , materials and leatherOverseas travel , design research, and to supervise product development.Qualifications :
8 years Design experienceHigh taste level and creative abilityAbility to manage, coach, and develop othersWorking knowledge of leather and footwear construction.Ability to conduct color / print researchKnowledge of seasonal silhouette and color trendsStrong illustration / presentation skillsUnderstanding of Madewell Brand, ability to implement into designProven ability to research and apply market / fashion trend informationDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionDetail oriented, good follow throughStrong organizational, communication, and written skillsProficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and ExcelBA Fashion Design

Salary Range : $86,400.00 - $108,000.00
