Production Technician (Entry Level)

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Technician to join our team and support our calibration team. The Production Technician role begins with administrative responsibilities to familiarize the technicians with our products and processes. Once comfortable, hands-on training will be provided. 

The Production Technician is responsible for reviewing information regarding orders going through the facility. Devices are verified for accuracy. The technician will generate reports, give order status responses to other departments, amend paperwork per customer requests, and print certificates. The technician has the freedom to become a Calibration Technician if they desire, through more advanced training.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

·       Review incoming orders for accuracy against customer requirements and internal order details

·       Review completed orders for accuracy before leaving the facility

·       Communicate order status to other departments

·       Generate Open Order reports

·       Close jobs for inventory and job labor

·       Commit devices to orders

·       Print Calibration Certificates and labels

·       Be an effective communicator within the team of technicians

·       Assist in consumable changes on devices. (O-Rings, Batteries)

·       Assist in calibrating devices using proprietary calibration software

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Quick learner, able to grasp concepts by looking at assemblies or written instructions.
• Experience in production environment (preferred)
• Basic computer skills- Windows, Word, Excel, navigating software with instructions.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Embrace changes to the plan, assist in navigation around obstacles to the workflow.
• Must be comfortable sitting at and using a computer for most of the day.
