Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist will work with all aspects of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial transactions. This role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the operational needs of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices and payment requests in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and ensure compliance with policies.
- Accounts Receivable:
- Patient billing and collections
- Ensure accurate posting of payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
- Maintain patient accounts and foster positive working relationships with resident families.
- Generate and analyze aging reports to follow up on outstanding balances.
- General:
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure accurate billing and payment processes.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.
Qualifications:
