Advancement Coordinator, Development Office

Our client, an independent private school, seeks a detail-oriented Advancement Coordinator to join their Development Office team. This role is crucial in maintaining donor and constituent relationships through effective database management and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as primary administrator of the development database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and proper maintenance
  • Process all gift entries and generate acknowledgment letters
  • Create and maintain detailed constituent records and relationships
  • Generate custom reports and analyze data to support fundraising initiatives
  • Manage event registration processes, including RSVP tracking and name tag creation
  • Support mailing list management and coordinate mail merges for communications
  • Provide general administrative support to the Development Office
  • Assist with special events and other development activities as needed

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of database management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Blackbaud products, particularly Raiser's Edge or Raiser's Edge NXT
  • Prior development / advancement database experience in education or non-profit setting
  • Experience in gift processing and donor relations
  • Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday, standard business hours

    Location : On-site

    Payrate : $27-32 / hour

    The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player who can maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive donor information and demonstrate initiative in improving database processes and procedures.

    Salary : $27 - $32
