The Executive Director will personally mentor the Operations Coordinator to develop knowledge in all aspects of nonprofit operations, including funding streams, organizational management, and navigating local County Government. This position offers a pathway to executive leadership for candidates committed to building a career in the nonprofit sector, particularly in services supporting people with disabilities and/or housing.

JOB DUTIES
Act as a liaison with staff, the leadership team, and the Executive Director to ensure consistent communication and involvement in decision-making at the proper time.
Assist Executive Director in overseeing grants achievements in consultation with staff and to improve workflow, teamwork, productivity and budget management.
Handle details related to research, drafting, and budgeting.
Supervise Office Manager who handles office maintenance, supplies, bill payments, meeting events, external guests, and payroll document preparation.
Prepare annual State narratives for state funding.
Handle Human Resources responsibilities and ensure awareness of company policies and procedures.
Coordinate and conduct meetings of management and direct service professionals to ensure important and timely information is shared.
Support the management team by assisting them in preparing for one-on-one meetings with the Executive Director and follow-up to ensure deliverables are produced.
Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve potential issues by bringing them to executive management's attention and identifying solutions as appropriate.
Participate directly in one grant to ensure deliverables are met.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
Experience in team coordination or project management (management experience preferred but not required)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Solid project report writing skills and verbal communication abilities
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and think critically
Adaptable with dedication to productivity
