What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boathouse Crew position at Madison Boats?
Serves guests and members renting boats, purchasing concession food, or inquiring about the Boat Houses. Duties include assisting guests with boat usage, maintaining boats and premises, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere at Wingra, Brittingham, or Marshall Boats. *Applicants must be at least 14 years of age. Experience is not required, but training will be provided. A personal email address and a method of communication are required.
Hours: ~12 - 20 hrs per week
Pay: $10-14 starting including tips

Qualifications

- Ability to accept supervision and guidance
- Willingness to learn how to use the variety of boats and improve your watercraft skills
- Must have open availability during the summer
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage the risks for our customers
- Handle concessions, selling and making food for guests
- Learn to drive assistance boats for rescues
- Check boats daily to ensure they are working properly and clean
- If born after ’87, must take a boater safety online course
