What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intervention Specialist position at Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center?
Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is looking for an energetic, patient and creative teacher to work in a program designed to meet the needs of students that require a highly structured setting with positive social and emotional supports. Candidates should be able to share how they balance structured academic support, social skills instruction/support, and behavior supports/modifications.

Full Time position
7.5 hours/day
5 days/week
184 days/year

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid ODE Intervention Specialist License
- Experience working with students with autism and behaviors preferred
- Satisfactory results on criminal records check including fingerprints required
- Candidate must be credentialed in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) or able to attend 4 days of TCI training and pass TCI test
