rDESCRIPTION:
We're searching for an exceptional and collaborative Vice President of People Culture to head our Human Resources department and partner with our Executive Committee team. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 -3 days per week in the Home Office located in the bay area. Occasional travel to properties for delivery of onsite trainings and orientations is required, approximately 10-15% of the time.
Positioned as a strategic partner to the business, this role will serve as a member of the Executive Committee, ensuring people strategies are aligned with both day to day operations as well as long term business goals. The VP, People Culture will collaborate with senior management to enable organizational growth by proactively assessing and anticipating the needs to develop and deliver sound human resource solutions. In this role, the individual will possess a strong business acumen and serve as a professional and positive leader in a consistently changing and dynamic environment.
The person we are looking for will have 2-3 years of senior leadership (VP or Corporate Director level) in the hospitality industry with a blend of both luxury hotel and multi-unit restaurant HR experience. The ideal candidate will most often be described as adaptable and collaborative.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hospitality-related HR with teams larger than 1000 people.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws; preferably in California.
- Experience with hands on training and development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics.
- Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.
