What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained and our residents are proud to call them home. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism toward team members and residents.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, and filter replacements.
- Repairing and maintaining plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical fixtures, carpentry, and more.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests and concerns.
- Ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are safely stored to prevent injuries.
- Partnering with vendors for specialized work like landscaping and asphalt repair.
- A basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- A proactive attitude, flexibility to work various schedules, and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one-year previous maintenance experience is preferred, especially in a multifamily setting
- Certifications such as HVAC, EPA, or CPO are a plus.
