What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Services Technician position at Madison County Government?
The Animal Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for both the animals and the members of the community by performing the duties necessary to maintain a well operating animal shelter. The Animal Services Technician would assist in receiving and caring for all types of domestic and wild animals, assist with transferring animals to other shelters as needed, explain regulations regarding disposition of animals to the public as needed, and work with the public to adopt animals in the shelter.
