Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
- Implement individualized plans and goals for each resident
- Promote independence and resident rights
- Engage residents in recreational activities and social interactions
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for residents
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
