Job Description
Responsible for providing holistic patient care according to individualized Nursing Care Plans for each assigned patient. Employee is required to provide care for and record the care given to patients at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Participate and work cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other departments to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the hospital setting. Supervises supportive personnel (PCT, CNA, PCA) assigned directly to medical floor to assist with patient care.
Qualifications
1. Graduate of a state approved school of nursing
2. Current Florida licensure as LPN
3. CPR certification
4. Participation in continuing education programs as required by the State of Florida.
5. ACLS and PALS preferred/optional
6. Completion of IV Therapy course within 6 months of hire.
