What are the responsibilities and job description for the AML Compliance Audit Consultant position at Madison-Davis, LLC?
Rate: $50/hour
- Plans and serves as the in-charge of audits. Manages the end-to-end audit lifecycle, including audit planning, audit program development audit execution, and fieldwork supervision through reporting
- Prepares and reviews work papers to ensure that they have been prepared in accordance department’s audit standard; quality assurance standards and the IIA Standards
- Makes appropriate recommendations to improve controls that include draft audit issue memos that are well written and require minimal editing and communicates audit results with the stakeholders
- Follow-up on management action plans to ensure timely and adequate remediation of audit issues
- Validates issue closures based on control design, operating effectiveness, and sustainability and reviews audit issue validation report
- Coordinates and reviews regulatory issues validation
- Facilitates and communicates requests for information between internal audit providers and departments/teams and routinely monitors the timeliness of material submission
- Provides audit status updates to Head Office, executive management, and related authorities including regulators, specialized committees of the Branch
- Works as a team member, as well as independently, to produce strong audit results and maintain professional independence and sound judgment in executing all audit and other assignments
