Title: Audit Director, Investment Banking
Office Status: 2x a week in office
Salary: Up to $225,000 20%-30% bonus
A global investment bank is seeking an experienced Audit Director to oversee audit coverage for Front Office and related support functions, including Sales, Trading, Risk Management, and Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital markets and securitized products. This role requires leadership in conducting complex audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and effectively communicating findings to senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute audits from planning to reporting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Supervise audit teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Assess risks and controls related to trading activities, electronic trading, and securitized products.
- Communicate audit findings clearly to stakeholders and senior management, proposing effective remediation strategies.
- Support the development and execution of the broader audit plan and participate in risk assessments.
- Track and validate issue remediation efforts, including regulatory compliance matters.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across business units.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in banking or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, securitized products (ECM, DCM, ABS, CLO), and trading activities.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, including Dodd-Frank, Volcker, and trading supervision.
- Expertise in audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Visio, and Tableau.
