What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Compliance Officer (AVP) position at Madison-Davis, LLC?
A commercial bank located in Manhattan looking to bring on board a “Corporate Compliance Officer (AVP)” to join their compliance team. This role is currently on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).
Responsibilities:
-Assist in designing and maintaining an effective, risk-based compliance management system to ensure adherence to all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance.
-Help establish a strong internal control framework, including policies, procedures, and processes, to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
-Identify compliance-related risks and emerging issues impacting the Branch's operations.
-Conduct risk assessments as needed and draft relevant compliance policies and procedures.
-Perform quality assurance and testing reviews to ensure operational accuracy.
-Investigate compliance findings from reviews, customer complaints, or audit/regulatory findings to identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and monitor resolution.
-Collaborate with all business units to identify and address compliance risks and concerns.
-Support targeted training on corporate and regulatory compliance topics.
-Assist with management committee reporting by compiling Compliance Program information and providing detailed status updates.
-Review and approve marketing materials, advertisements, websites, and social media content for compliance.
-Act as a liaison with examiners during compliance exams and auditors during audits.
-Undertake special projects and other tasks as required and directed.
-Review and analyze new laws, regulations, and guidance to assess their impact on business operations, report findings to the appropriate areas, and help develop compliant policies and procedures.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
