Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of credit operations, including underwriting, documentation, servicing, and portfolio monitoring.
• Ensure the efficient processing of credit facilities, maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to optimize credit administration and minimize operational risks.
• Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure appropriate risk assessment frameworks are in place.
• Manage trade finance operations, including letters of credit (LCs), guarantees, supply chain finance, and documentary collections.
• Work closely with front-office teams to structure trade finance solutions for corporate and institutional clients.
• Ensure trade finance transactions comply with international banking regulations, including UCP 600, ISBP, and AML/KYC guidelines.
• Drive innovation in trade finance operations through process improvement and technology adoption.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of credit and trade finance professionals.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, including credit committees and regulators, to drive strategic decisions.
• Provide insights on market trends and regulatory changes impacting credit operations and trade finance.
• Partner with technology teams to enhance credit and trade finance platforms, improving scalability and efficiency.
