Job Details
Role:
- Act as a liaison between the CISO org and Infrastructure Security, ensuring efficient communication and action on security vulnerabilities.
- Drive remediation efforts by guiding teams through Critical, High, and Zero-Day vulnerability resolution.
- Utilize Tenable Nessus (preferred) or similar vulnerability scanning tools to identify security gaps and track remediation progress.
- Conduct penetration testing analysis (lighter focus) and generate insightful reports.
- Analyze CVSS scores, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), and potential exploits, prioritizing based on risk and business impact.
- Provide mitigation controls and assist remediation teams through the Risk Acceptance process.
- Maintain vulnerability tracking via Excel or an industry-standard ticketing system.
- Leverage Threat Intelligence insights to inform remediation strategies.
- Support Zero Trust Infrastructure initiatives and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Possess a strong understanding of end-user security, firewalls, network protocols, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Work with cloud security technologies (knowledge in this area is a plus).
- Communicate security risks effectively to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
- Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Expertise in Tenable Security Center (scan configuration, analysis, and reporting).
- Hands-on experience with Checkmarx
- Strong analytical and prioritization skills for vulnerability management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders and drive remediation efforts.
