Investment bank located in Midtown Manhattan looking to bring on board a “Trade Surveillance Vice President” to join their team. This role is currently in a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / week).
Responsibilities:
-Exercise discretion in managing sensitive information, correspondence, and confidential matters, escalating issues as necessary.
-Stay informed about practices and procedures within your area of responsibility, and keep up with emerging trends relevant to your function.
-Safeguard the organization's interests by identifying and managing risks, escalating high-risk or non-standard activities when appropriate.
-Conduct meaningful reporting and analysis at both the functional and enterprise level, using insights to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, policies, and practices.
-Monitor service quality, productivity, and efficiency within your function, driving continuous process improvements when opportunities arise.
-Develop expertise in your discipline and provide guidance to others to ensure consistent application of best practices.
-Identify and recommend standard practices within your area of expertise, and effectively implement them.
-Comply with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
-Stay updated on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulations, and assess their potential impact on the organization.
-Foster a risk management culture by ensuring effective processes are in place that align with the organization’s risk appetite.
Salary : $120,000 - $190,000
