Overview:
A top 10 global investment bank is seeking a Vice President to lead its newly established Liquidity Regulatory Reporting (LRR) team within its expanding North American operations. The LRR team manages and improves daily and monthly regulatory reporting processes, with a primary focus on FR2052a reporting and monitoring liquidity metrics. This role involves leading change initiatives, enhancing governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards. Unlike peers impacted by recent economic challenges, this firm is actively growing its NYC presence and offers hybrid work (2 days in-office). With clear paths for internal advancement, this position is ideal for candidates experienced in liquidity regulations and regulatory reporting, especially those with significant expertise in FR2052a reporting and governance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Change team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
- Own the end-to-end change process for regulatory reporting, including preparing business requirements, defining test scripts, validating implementation results, and maintaining interpretation documentation.
- Define and maintain a robust governance and control framework for regulatory reporting, aligning with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of reporting assumptions and provide support during internal and external audits.
- Develop a framework for assessing materiality and prioritizing issue remediation, driving efficient and effective resolutions.
- Assist in implementing the Target Operating Model for reporting processes and collaborate with Treasury Liquidity Management to align on key changes.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA, CFA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 6 years relevant experience in performing financial and/or regulatory reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements. Prior experience with liquidity regulatory reporting, with specific experience in FR2052a reporting processes.
