An investment bank located in Midtown Manhattan looking to bring on board a “VP -Trade Surveillance VP (FICC, Equities, FX/Commodities)” to join their team. This role is currently in a hybrid schedule (2 days in office / week).
Responsibilities:
-Exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information, and confidential matters; escalate issues when necessary.
-Maintain knowledge of practices and procedures in own area of responsibility and stay updated on emerging trends.
-Protect the organization’s interests by identifying and managing risks; escalate high-risk activities when appropriate.
-Conduct reporting and analysis at the functional or enterprise level, using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and assess program/policy effectiveness.
-Monitor service, productivity, and efficiency levels within the function, implementing continuous improvements where possible.
-Acquire expertise in the discipline and provide guidance and direction to others.
-Identify, recommend, and execute standard practices within the discipline.
-Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
-Stay updated on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements, assessing their potential impact.
-Foster a culture of risk management and control in alignment with the organization’s risk appetite.
-Stay informed about new trade surveillance modules and tools.
Salary : $120,000 - $190,000
