What are the responsibilities and job description for the Latchkey Assistant Teacher position at Madison Early Childhood Learning Center?
The Madison Early Childhood Learning Center (MECLC) is a licensed Preschool and Childcare program. MECLC currently has an opening for an Assistant Teacher in the School Age/ Latchkey program at a Madison Elementary School. The days for this position are Monday - Friday. Hours will vary based on availability and need of the program.
The Assistant Teacher:
- Assist the Site Coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate children in all programs using learning experiences designed to address a wide range of skill and developmental levels.
- Provide effective instruction using the lesson plan created by the Site Coordinator that enables students to gain knowledge, acquire skills, and develop positive learning behaviors through a variety of supports.
- Follow all ODE licensing rules/procedures and SUTQ rules. Provide support to the Site Coordinator to ensure all licensing rules and procedures are followed.
- Assist the Site Coordinator with conducting monthly drills.
- Perform additional work duties per the Site Coordinator.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
