MISSION:
Madison Energy Infrastructure (“MEI”) believes in the power of clean energy
infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, asset
owner and operator of distributed generation. This role represents a critical next
step in MEI’s evolution toward offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500
corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers alike and
building out development pipelines to finance renewable energy projects with our
development partners.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Asset Management Senior Analyst at Madison Energy Infrastructure (MEI), is
instrumental in driving and enhancing data accuracy, issue resolution efficiency,
and strategic insights for renewable energy asset management, with a focus on
streamlining processes, mentoring analysts, and supporting operational and
reporting needs across our C&I solar fleet (including batteries and EV chargers).
Reporting to the Vice President of Asset Management, this role entails supervising
a team of 2-3 analysts, actively monitoring and managing data from solar sites, and
creating actionable dashboards and reports to improve operational efficiency and
revenue performance.
The Senior Analyst takes on a hands-on role, guiding and directing the analytics
team while directly contributing to operational needs by flagging and tagging
issues, verifying data accuracy, and supporting reporting functions. Exceptional
leadership and analytical thinking are essential for success in this position. The
analysis team is responsible for monitoring 400 sites daily, flagging and tagging
issues within one hour of occurrence, generating weekly and quarterly reports on
performance metrics, and building predictive dashboards to inform executive
decision-making, reflecting the elevated strategic importance of the position
within the organization
\n- Leading and overseeing the supervision, training, and mentoring of 2-3 analysts to ensure timely and accurate identification of issues across solar sites. You’ll start with 1 analyst and grow the team over the next few years.
- Monitoring and managing data from 1500 C&I solar sites daily, including batteries and EV chargers, ensuring all flagged issues are identified, verified, and addressed within one hour of occurrence. We currently have 400 sites, that will grow dramatically over the next few years.
- Generating weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, including insights into divisional and regional performance for executive and operational teams.
- Building out and maintaining PowerBI dashboards to provide leading and lagging indicators and predictive analytics for inverter and product performance.
- Developing and implementing streamlined processes for data analysis and issue tagging, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring data integrity.
- Creating and maintaining a system for tracking inverter, racking, tracker, panel, and data equipment warranties, generating tickets for inspections near expiration.
- Contributing directly to operational needs by flagging and tagging issues and verifying the accuracy of data inputs.
- Collaborating with leadership to ensure the team’s work aligns with broader organizational goals and growth strategies.
- 5 years of experience in solar site production monitoring, asset management, or related fields.
- 3 years of experience mentoring and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in PowerBI, including creating dashboards and visualizations for data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and comfort coding in Python for advanced data analytics and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create professional presentations.
- Familiarity with FERC requirements is a plus.
Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
