CB Settlement Solutions is hiring a Closing Coordinator! This is a remote position where the Closing Coordinator plays a key role in the title and closing process, ensuring smooth and accurate transactions. This role encompasses a variety of tasks, including the review of title commitments, preparation of closing documents, coordination of pre-closing requirements, and handling lender revisions. Additionally, the Closing Coordinator will support post-closing activities, including scanning and returning closing document packages, answering post-closing inquiries, and ensuring compliance with all title insurance and recording requirements.

Essential Responsibilities
Title Commitment Review & Documentation:
- Review title commitments to confirm accuracy and compliance with lender and underwriting requirements.
- Prepare and process key documents, including deeds, powers of attorney (POAs), trust certifications, affidavits, and title-related disclosures.
- Ensure all necessary title documents, including CPLs, tax certifications, and other supporting materials, are obtained and distributed to appropriate parties.
Pre-Closing Coordination & Loan Revisions:
- Coordinate pre-closing signings and ensure all required documents are properly executed.
- Work with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers to obtain and verify legal documents for vesting and signer requirements.
- Assist with loan revisions and update requests promptly and accurately.
Closing & Post-Closing Processing:
- Assist with review of preliminary closing disclosures (CDs), preliminary Alta settlement statements, HUD-1, and other required settlement documents.
- Ensure all necessary title documents are sent to buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders in a timely manner.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating closings, ensuring all required documentation is in place.
Post-Closing Responsibilities:
- Scan and organize closing document packages for proper storage.
- Return packages to lenders, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Verify that checks are sent to the correct parties and ensure receipt.
- Address post-closing questions and concerns from customers/clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with document recording and work closely with recording agencies to ensure timely submission.
- Verify recording fees and ensure they are accurate and processed accordingly.
- Track post-closing requirements and assist in any follow-up actions to finalize transactions.
