We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Flooring Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by building relationships with builders, restoration companies and contractors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions for their needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales in lighting products.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand market trends.
- Build and maintain your own CRM and follow up accordingly with customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure seamless communication and support for client needs.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during client interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in flooring sales or retail flooring sales environments.
- Familiarity with interior design concepts is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn about new products and services.
