What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Intern - Database Administrator position at Madison Gas and Electric?
POSITION PURPOSE
The IT Intern - Database Administrator will directly support the IT department within the DBA team engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience with standard technical skills and be enrolled in an associate, undergraduate or graduate degree program in the areas of Information Technology or Computer Science.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Interns will work full-time (40 hours / week) during the summer months, starting mid-May through early September on a hybrid basis with some remote capabilities
- Upon successful completion of summer term, additional availability to work part-time (15-20 hours / week) during the fall and spring semesters will be available based on business needs
