What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Intern - Enterprise Application Integration Developer position at Madison Gas and Electric?
POSITION PURPOSE
The IT Intern - Enterprise Application Integration Developer will directly support the IT department and the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) team. The ideal candidate will have experience with backend developer languages and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science.
WORK SCHEDULE
Interns will work full-time (40 hours / week) during the summer months, starting mid-May through early September on a hybrid basis with some remote capabilities
Upon successful completion of summer term, additional availability to work part-time (15-20 hours / week) during the fall and spring semesters will be available based on business needs
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and create new integrations with our ETL or Oracle SOA Suite tool
- Review documents and create designs to support the EAI team
- Troubleshoot current bugs related to Oracle SOA Suite
- Create new jobs within Enterprise Scheduling Tool
- Assist with creation of shell scripts on Linux box for various use cases
- Work with SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
