ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Research improvements to existing processes, tooling and equipment including gauging techniques. 
  • Development, train and implement quality plans including AIAG APQP, work instructions and inspection requirements to ISO/TS16949 and customer requirements. 
  • Assures existing or new tooling and equipment meets both customer and Madison-Kipp Corporation requirements utilizing statistical techniques, tolerance analysis, process studies, etc. 
  • Serves as team member of production personnel troubleshooting operational and/or customer issues on a daily basis including corrective action plans to correct non-conforming process or tooling. 
  • May assist in the installation of equipment, mainly gauging systems. 
  • Compiles and reports out data on plant operations. 
  • Coordinates and maintains corrective action systems (for internal and external) so that the identification, prioritization, and correction of problems occur efficiently and effectively. 
  • Establishes and maintains documentation for ISO/TS16949, including but not limited to product specific work instructions. 
  • Coordinates or participates in launch process which may include Process Flow development, Failure Mode Effects Analysis process reviews, Control Plan development, gauging plans, etc. 
  • Participate or lead training sessions with/for production and/or non-production training requirements. 
  • Utilizes Madison-Kipp Corporation software (CMS/Epicor, Google, GageTrac, etc.) as required to accomplish quality activities outline above. 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. 
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
