Job Overview
Madison Lawn & Landscape of Sioux Falls is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our irrigation team. Someone with strong field experience who’s confident installing irrigation systems from start to finish, reading plans, and using specialized equipment. As an Install Tech, you’ll take the lead on system installations, working closely with the team to ensure each project is completed accurately and efficiently. Requirements
- 3 years of irrigation installation experience
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Plumbers License (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting plans and blueprints
- Experience operating trenchers, pipe pullers, and related machinery
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Solid communication and leadership skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) communication is a plus
Here’s What You’d Do
- Work with a team to complete the installation of residential and commercial irrigation systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Read and understand blueprints and site plans for system layout.
- Operate specialized equipment including trenchers, vibratory plows, and boring tools.
- Ensure all installations meet company and industry standards for quality and performance.
- Maintain communication with project managers to report progress, challenges, and updates.
- Perform irrigation services and repairs as needed
- Assist with starting and winterizing irrigation systems
Compensation & Schedule
- Schedule is Monday - Friday based on 40 hours/week (overtime as needed)
- $25/hr depending on experience
