Irrigation Technician

Madison Lawn and Landscape is looking for an experienced and motivated individual who is ready to elevate their career within the green industry! An Irrigation Technician is responsible for servicing commercial and residential irrigation systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial sprinkler systems with precision and expertise.
• Conduct system start-ups, audits, and winterizations to ensure optimal performance year-round.
• Maintain detailed daily job logs to track progress and ensure accountability.
• Follow a well-organized daily calendar for efficient routing and task management.
• Maintain regular communication with your manager to provide updates on projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and top-notch workmanship.
• Keep your work vehicle organized and stocked to ensure readiness for any task.

How to Be Successful:

• Proven Experience: Whether you've spent two years in irrigation or show exceptional promise, your ability to tackle challenges head-on sets you apart.
• Mobility and Adaptability: With a valid driver’s license with a good record, you're always ready to navigate new projects and deliver top-notch service on the go.
• Business-Oriented Mindset: You understand the importance of aligning customer needs with business goals. Effective communication drives success for both the customer and the company.
• Problem-Solving: You thrive in dynamic environments, quickly identifying issues and implementing effective solutions, all while managing time and tasks with ease.

Hours & Compensation

• Regular hours: 40 hr/ week Monday - Friday. Overtime hours available and, at times, may be required.
• $18-$22/hour depending on experience
• Position type: Full-time
