What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Technician position at Madison Lawn & Landscape, Inc.?
Madison Lawn & Landscape of Sioux Falls is looking to add a motivated and driven individual to our Lawn Care team. This is a great opportunity to help build and expand your professional career as we continue to grow the Sioux Falls branch.
Here's What You'd Do
- Perform routine mowing, trimming and edging service for residential and commercial properties.
- Work with a team to complete daily tasks while upholding our standards of work.
- Assist with other property maintenance services including; aeration, overseeding, property clean ups and more.
- Perform snow removal duties in the winter to maintain safety at all properties
- Clean and maintain the equipment. Report to our mechanic if the equipment is in disrepair.
Skills
- Experience operating lawn care equipment (Lawn mowers, trimmers, dethatchers and more)
- Knowledge of best practices for mowing and trimming techniques
- Experience driving a truck and trailer, using safe practices to load and haul equipment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend and walk for extended periods of time
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Dependable transportation to and from work
Hours & Compensation
- Regular hours: Monday - Friday 7am-4pm. Overtime hours available and, at times, required.
- $18.00 - $20.00 depending on experience
- Year-round employment with snow removal services
