What are the responsibilities and job description for the Madison Ortho - RN/LPN- (RPT) position at Madison Memorial Hospital?
Madisonhealth is seeking to hire a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care, specific to the age of the patient population served in the medical clinic. They will communicate with physicians and registered nurses about changes in the patient's clinical condition including the results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.
They are able to perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision, and participates in performance improvement activities. They will ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the center's standards of care.
They will demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the medical center and organization: remains flexible to changing systems: is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.
- Classification: Regular Part Time
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3rd day rotation in ortho/podiatry areas

Requirements:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Idaho
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified, current
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified, current
Skills:
- Ability to work individually or as a team
- Multitasking with patient care and required paperwork
- Effective and considerate communication with patients, staff members, and members of the general public
- Diverse communication skills to adequately relate complex ideas and concepts to multi-cultural patients/patient families
