Purpose Of Position
Under the general supervision of the HR Systems Director in Human Resources, this position will provide system administration of the District’s Enterprise Resource Planning Software (ERP). This position requires inter- and intra-departmental collaboration, as well as working closely with software vendors to ensure operation cohesiveness and effectiveness. The position is specifically responsible for being the subject matter expert of MMSD’s cloud-based ERP as it relates to business functions (financial, inventory, human resources, and purchasing). This position will have a growth mindset to a multi-faceted operation while having a focus on creating a positive work culture.
The ERP Administrator will provide leadership, coordination, and governance for work in coordination with the operational teams to maintain functionality of our ERP software application which is currently Tyler. Work will also include application and technical support, compliance monitoring, and user maintenance. Application support requires an understanding of how each department uses the District’s ERP in order to maximize the effectiveness of the software. Technical support demands proficiency in systems for analysing and processing large amounts of data. This position will have a high degree of integrity, sustain a culture of continuous improvement, and be committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
