Madison Mutual Insurance Co. is seeking a motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills to join our Marketing Team as a F / T Marketing Representative in Indiana. Interested applicants must reside in the assigned territory and have a Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years' experience in insurance sales and / or marketing. The Marketing Representative :
- Services existing agencies in assigned territory
- Appoints new independent agents
- Promotes Madison Mutual Insurance products
- Provides appropriate systems and underwriting training
- Performs agency installations and new agency training
- Provides information regarding competitors and market conditions to management
- Works with agents and UW Dept regarding compliance with company procedures
- Identifies, recommends and participates in special events and programs
- Recommends products, pricing and system enhancements
- Overnight travel required as necessary
