Engineering Staff

Madison Precision Products, Inc., a tier-one automotive parts supplier to Honda of America in Madison, Indiana is seeking qualified individuals for the following position:

Engineering Staff Job description:

A position that has exceptional growth opportunities, by growing with the company. The job description for this job as follows,

• Team player that work with cross functional teams to improve Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale metrics
• Has interest in High Pressure Die Casting, CNC Machining and Assembly processes
• Has knowledge and interest to learn process design and process costing for productivity
• Identify and improve Quality and Productivity to achieve daily results
• Generate continuous improvement projects / Kaizen activities
• Able to operate equipment’s as needed and to be able to understand current process to identify opportunities for improvement
• Open, learn and implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies for improvements
• Diagnose the issues and develop root cause for countermeasure activity
• Make summary reports for assigned projects in a set frequency and be able to present factual data for consensus and drive path forward

Requirements:

• Associate Degree/Bachelors Degree In Engineering or a Related Field
• Good work ethics (Able to work in team settings, good communication)
• Basic computer / math skills
• Able to interpret 2D drawings preferred
• Basic knowledge of High Pressure Die casting, CNC Machining and Programmable Logic Control is preferred
• Some prior experience in Manufacturing is preferred
