Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and managing tabs efficiently.
- Assist in catering events as needed, showcasing excellent hospitality skills.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist with ordering as necessary.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or bartending.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Cash handling experience is essential for managing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required.
- A background in sales or catering is a plus, enhancing the overall guest experience through upselling techniques.
