Head Custodian - Jeffrey School

Head Custodian at the Jeffrey School (Grades K-3) needed to keep the school building and grounds in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program or events. The Head Custodian will organize, manage, delegate and supervise a work team, both efficiently and effectively. This position will transition for the 2025/26 to the new Neck River School (Grades PreK-5).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees custodians at respective site.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The preferred knowledge/experience listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required to successfully perform the duties of this position. • A minimum of 5 years experience in the custodial field. A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• A minimum of 2 years responsibility for a school or complex of comparable size and complexity in the custodial field.
• Proficiency in computerized building management systems and other computer database systems.

Work Schedule: Full Year, 8 hours per day, subject to 24/7 on-call
Compensation: $29.82 per hour (rate will increase to $31.02 as of 7/1/25)
