Farm Equipment Operator 3+yr Required

Job Title: Operator 3 Reports to: Crop Production Supervisor

Location: Echo, Oregon

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate, help calibrate, load and unload specialized farm or heavy equipment in a proficient manner including but not limited to harvest equipment, planting equipment, and heavy trucks
• Responsible for performing basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Responsible to report needed maintenance to the mechanic and assist with repair for each piece of equipment assigned
• Responsible for completing work correctly including paper records / worksheets
• Be able to complete assigned jobs without direct supervision
• Be able to assist in maintenance shop or irrigation department as needed
• Follow all safety rules and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED SKILLS & SUPPLIES

• Bilingual preferred
• Pesticide applicators license preferred
• Class A driver’s license preferred when applicable
• Torch and welding skills preferred
• Meets all requirements of Operator 1
• Must have own basic tools
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Must have a valid driver license and good driving record

• Outside, equipment cabs, occasional shop building, and meetings
