Madison Regional Health System is seeking a EMT to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.
Our EMT is an essential part of our Ambulance Department and is responsible under the direction of the Paramedic and Supervisor for providing high quality patient care according to established standards of performance. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations, and critical thinking skills are essential.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use fine motor skills, able to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vison, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This position requires a National Registration and/or South Dakota License as an EMT-Basic. Schedule will include taking call for the Ambulance Service. Call will include days, evenings, weekends, and holiday rotation.
