Roles & Responsibilities
- Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
- Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.
- Rotate through the functional areas of the Hotel to gain an understanding of how each department contributes to the success of the hotel.
- Develop skills and leadership under the guidance of the departmental leaders through hands-on work and shadowing.
- Assist guests when needed.
- Learn the operational workings of each department by observation of team members, participation in meetings, asking questions, and special departmental projects.
- Provide input into the development and implementation of services and processes.
- Comply with company policies and procedures of each department in a satisfactory manner.
- Assist each department head with assigned operational functions and help with strategic plan for the department.
- Completing tasks by utilizing and learning systems, tools, equipment, and software that apply.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Hospitality Management, Business Management or other related majors.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to demonstrate professional work ethic
- Able to maintain flexible work schedule
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Handle sensitive information with honesty and integrity.
