Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, childcare work and a commitment to providing high-quality education in a nurturing environment. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Sit and interact with children on a daily basis, helping them to explore their materials and environment.
- Maintain an organized classroom
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized attention to children, including those with disabilities or special needs, ensuring all students feel included and valued.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
- Change diapers
- Serve meals and or snacks
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings (daycare, preschool, nannying).
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques.
- Highschool Diploma
- MMR Vaccine
- Food Handlers Card
- Ability to provide infant care as needed for younger age groups.
- Certification in Adult/Child/Infant First Aid and CPR is mandatory.
- 30hour STARS Training Certificate
- Blood Borne Pathogens Training
- Safe Sleep Training
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for educating young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $16.66 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
