The Associate Videographer/Editor will be responsible for handling basic lighting and assembling long and short form content. Who are we hiring?
The Associate Videographer/Editor will support the video content and production for various shoots. The Associate Videographer/Editor will be responsible for handling basic lighting and assembling long and short form content. The Associate Videographer/Editor will work closely with senior colleagues with pre and postproduction elements.
What will you do?
- Responsible for assembling long/short form content to support needs for multiple departments
- Shoot and handle basic lighting for smaller video productions such as certain internal video and social media content under direct supervision of more senior staff
- Participate in larger shoots as additional camera or Assistant Camera (AC)
- Support more senior colleagues on pre-production and shoot production.
- Suggest audition music, graphics, and effects for inclusion in the edit.
- Export, reformat, and perform quality control to ensure all deliverables meet the required specification
- Update existing edits as needed.
- Ingest, organize, log, and clean up footage from shoots to prepare for edits.
- Organize and maintain equipment area
- Collaborate with producers and Project Managers to understand the intended messaging of the content
- Archive all projects and components to appropriate servers for easy access in the future
- 2 years' experience working as a videographer in varying environments
- Proven track record of being capable of delivering high quality content regardless of the shoot and other conditions
- Knowledgeable about various cameras, equipment, shooting and editing styles and techniques
- Basic knowledge and experience with postproduction and graphics software, including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere & After Effects
- Motion Graphics capabilities a plus
- Organization, attention to detail, clear communication and collaboration are critical
- Need to embrace the challenge of aggressive deadlines and turnaround while keeping your creativity flowing
- Some non-traditional working hours may be needed based on business need and deadlines
- Travel as required for shoots and other business needs
- Able to lift up to 35-50lbs pounds of production equipment
