We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors to maintain a polished appearance.
- Conduct routine custodial duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial settings.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices are followed throughout the facility.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
- Exterior building and grounds work such as window washing, landscaping, weed pulling, etc.
- Provide porter services by assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and operating equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently
- Good physical stamina; must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
