Description
We are willing to provide training to the "right" candidate through a partnership with the State of Montana Board of Pharmacy "Pharmacy Technician-in-Training Program".
We are recruiting for a full-time pharmacy technician to join our Retail Pharmacy. This position is required to provide a high level of customer service in a friendly supportive work environment where the focus is on safely and efficiently providing excellent pharmacy services to our community. This pharmacy technician is expected to complete all standard pharmacy technician tasks and will take on more extensive responsibilities as we grow.
We are looking for someone that enjoys a daily challenge, keeping busy, working close with others, has a desire to keep learning, and takes pride in the service they will provide to our community.
Previous experience and/or certified pharmacy technician license are not required to apply. We are willing to support an employee who is interested in becoming a certified pharmacy technician by completing the Board of Pharmacy’s Pharmacy Technician-in-Training Program within 12 months from the time of hire. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Montana licensure as a technician in training within 30 days of hire.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) within 1 year of technician in training licensure.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong verbal, professional, and written communication skills.
- Interact pleasantly, effectively, and professionally with patients, providers, and coworkers.
- Demonstrate sound judgement, patience, and professional demeanor.
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and policies.
- Computer literacy; we work with Pioneer, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipment.
- Self-directed; complete assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight.
- Detail oriented; organizational skills and the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks.
