Essential Functions
- Processing AP transactions to include acquiring approvals, data entry and validation.
- Communication, both internal and external, to research and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives – recognition and implementation. Accounting analysis and report compilations to support General Accounting/Other Accounting Segments including general ledger transaction analysis and bank reconciliations, expense analysis, compilation of bulk transactional data for system upload and other responsibilities requiring knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Emphasis on process analysis and departmental audit functions.
- Assist with compliance reporting requirements and database management. Assist with other projects as assigned by manager.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments according to processing schedules. Ability to manage confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- SAP experience strongly preferred. ERP experience beneficial.
- Intermediate Excel / Word.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills; ability to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in A/P, A/R, Payroll or Financial Reporting.
Work Environment
- Generally, 8-hour days, 5 days a week, indoors in a controlled environment.
- Occasional overtime required when necessary.
- Occasional travel required.
