The Ice Cream Shop Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the ice cream shop, ensuring efficient functioning, exceptional customer service, and adherence to company standards. They manage staff, schedules, handle inventory, monitor sales, and maintain a clean and inviting environment. The Supervisor also fosters a positive work culture, trains employees, and resolves any customer or employee issues that may arise.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Train, schedule, and supervise staff members.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to employees, ensuring high performance and job satisfaction.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
- Ensure customers receive excellent service and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the shop.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
- Oversee daily activities, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Promote special offers, discounts, and new products to attract customers.
- Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives and promotional events.
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and growth.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise among staff or customers.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as necessary.
- Take proactive measures to prevent potential problems and maintain smooth operations.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Proven experience in a keyholder or leadership role, preferably in the food service industry.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles and inventory management.
· Understanding of health and safety regulations.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
· Must be 21 years or older.
· Basic computer literacy.
· Positive work-attitude.
· Reliable and highly motivated.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in a standard retail/food establishment environment where they are required to stand and move for extended periods of time. The employee will also be expected to spend significant time using a computer/POS system. This environment involves standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and crouching. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 50 pounds (unassisted) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution.
