Design and Solution Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
The Design and Solutions Specialist is responsible for running appointments on Company-provided Qualified Sales Leads, closing sales for the company, and is customarily and regularly engaged at the Customers’ building or jobsite away from the Company’s place of business.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
o Drives to Customers’ homes on pre-scheduled appointments.
o Builds professional rapport with Customers & determines their desired outcome(s).
o Carefully examines the Customer’s home to gather necessary data to provide an accurate diagnosis of the Customers’ issues.
o Provides necessary recommendations to the Customer that will resolve such issues.
o Write proposals onsite, including a reference drawing of proposed work with pertinent notes, then present the proposal to the Customer.
o Completes the sale with the Customer.
o Follow-up with the Customer as needed.
o Possesses clear communication skills, both verbally and written, with Customers and intraoffice Departments.
o Meets or exceeds his/her projected monthly Average Dollar Per Lead, Conversion Rate, and Annual Sales goals.
o Experience and Ability to self-generate leads.
· Training & Development
o Training in product overview, accurate diagnosis, Training Videos, Classes and Workshops, and Salesforce CRM navigation training.
o Attends the weekly sales meeting and other required meetings.
o Participates in ride-along shadowing with the Sales Manager and peers.
o Invest in their own sales knowledge by remaining curious and teachable.
o Practices the sales process and follows it every time.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· Knowledge of sales, marketing, and/or customer service principles and practices.
· Knowledge of construction principles and practices preferred.
· Skill in operating a personal computer and programs.
· Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on a computer/tablet/phone screen up to 75% of the time.
· Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English, including strong presentation skills.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, 1 years of successful experience in the sales or sales management preferred OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
· Ability to exert up to 40 lb. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
· Ability to physically move about, move to/from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces beneath homes.
· A valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
· U.S Citizenship or proper documentation of the legal ability to work in the United States.
· Ability to pass an FBI background check to secure and maintain a California Contractors State License Board registration as a Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS), see www.cslb.ca.gov for further information about registration process.

Pay: $59,724.00 - $200,000.00 per year
