Lead Nursing Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nursing Manager to oversee the delivery of exceptional nursing care at Madonna Manor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of resident care while promoting a positive and supportive work environment for our nursing staff.
About the Role:
- Assure quality resident care while maintaining nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
- Serve as a resource person in both the clinical and management setting, providing guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Act as a positive clinical role model and effective change agent to ensure optimum delivery of nursing care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with Federal, State, and organizational rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Attend committee meetings assigned, assist in the management of nursing staff, complete nursing care functions for the facility, and satisfy all educational in-service requirements mandates by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate to develop methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services, admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
- Review complaints and grievances, and greet new residents upon admission.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the state of employment.
- Currently certified in CPR.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- One year supervisory experience preferred.
- Minimum one year recent clinical experience related to geriatric nursing.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
