Position

LPN, Ventilator Assist Unit (VAU), 36 hours per week, 7a-7p with rotating weekends & holidays

$12,000 Sign On Bonus

Unit Overview

VAU â?? Long term care of ventilator dependent residents and residents with highly specialized care needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care, administers prescribed medication and treatments to patient
• Compile, compare and record patient care information
• Contributes to the assessment of patient condition and communicates any changes
• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
• Collaborates with clinical services team to deliver excellent patient care
• Communicates effectively with physicians, families and patient

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Active LPN license in state of Nebraska
• CPR certification
• One year clinical experience preferred
